Artistic Statement

Art has no boundaries. This has been my attitude since I began taking art courses in college years ago. As an artist I began with a single concentration in painting and eventually gravitated toward photography.

Beginning as an unassuming artist working solely in the darkroom my craft has involved into wearing many hats. Presently I work in many mediums, still with a main focus in photography.

Since much of my work is experimental in conception and/or execution I am very much involved with today's world of rapidly growing technology. I refuse to completely give up the darkroom for digital photography since each image and series requires an individual voice and each voice is capable of many languages interpreted by its own medium.

This is my fascination with art and its process of creativity.
